There are certainly days where I look around DeviantArt and other placed (ConceptArt.org, Massive Black) and get a little depressed. For the most part I'm a line-art guy. I do color, but I'm not a full-on digital painter...not like some of these folks. I look around and see people painting with no line art completely digitally and am simply amazed. I wonder how in the hell do you DO that! I think part of my brain is firmly locked in to having nice clean black and white to work from first. I don't even know what to do when it coes to working without lineart. It's like a highwire act with no net.

This has been the first year of color work. It's not very good at all. Still...iut's a tentative step in to the MUCH deeper end of the pool.

I have a lot of respect for those of you who work in color.
